Without the worry of my doctoral courses getting in the way, I have started a 7 week program to get ready for the USAPL Iron Beast meet on January 25, 2015.
Squat: Bar/10/10, 95/10, 135/10, 225/10, 275/10/10/10 Mid Shin Deadlifts: 135/5/5, 185/5, 225/5/5, 275/5/5 Bench: Bar/15/15, 95/10, 135/10, 185/10/10/10 Pull-Ups w/ Average Band: 5/5/5 Pushdowns w/ Mini Band: 10/10/10 Face Pulls w/ Average Band: 10/10/10 Nothing crazy as you can tell. I need to get out of the habit of training for a meet, competing, and then sitting around for a couple of months, training, etc. I have been in this cycle for a couple of years. I had a stretch back from 2009-2012 that I trained on average 4 days a week, but I never competed in a meet. Just mindless training. Thanks for reading! Charles
